Crockett Scout by karanua Crockett Scout by karanua
Crockett scout class starship, immediate conjectural predesessor of the Hermes / Saladin scouts. As with all Star Trek meshes - NO COMMERCIAL USE. Other than that have fun doing any art stills or animation with it. A link to any pics you do with it would be nice as I always like seeing what people do with my ships.

Done with the ST : RPG in mind as a player character ship with a small crew.

Blender Maduniverse parts by Ricky Wallace who gave me permission to convert them to lightwave and to do these home grown designs.
Built in lightwave 9.6 (x64) the scene file (default setup) creates the above image. Lights are parented to a lighting hub which is in turn parented to the mesh which for the sake of convenience has been merged to a single layer.

Have fun :)

New Broomstick do you think? It certainly looks like a witches widebrim on a broom in plan view :giggle:

Nice little starship. These were the smallest of the Federation Cruisers listed in the Star Fleet Technical Manual. Very well done.

Houston, we have a winner.

As it says in my notes above, this design is the predessesor to the Hermes / Saladin that was listed in the 1975 tech manual. The Hermes / Saladins shared the same saucer and nacelle design as Enterprise, this is an older design of both.

Incredible render. The lighting is superb and the POV puts one in the scene as though they were riding in on a shuttle about to dock after travelling aft. Thanks for the info.
