SOPA, the internet users stopped it right? So? Its seems that last June the RIAA and many noteable ISPs in the USA signed an agreement to do just exactly what SOPA was all about between them starting in the second quarter of this year.

I suggest that anyone thats remotely interested in the privacy issues here read the following Ars Technica article

Its quite eye opening the way these people have decided to work, to say the least. Of course being in the UK I'm hardly unaware of the government wanting to spy on our every move; here being the highest density of CCTV systems in the whole of europe and the last Labour government as a departing shot was one of the first governments to sign the ACTA bill.
